Guardians of Mercy Animal League was incorporated as a non-profit, no-kill organization in 1998 in response to the critical overpopulation of cats in the Hawley area, to rescue stray and unwanted cats, neuter/spay them, find homes for as many as possible and provide humane shelter for the others as long as necessary. The cats are loving and respond to affection and care. GOMAL is probably one of the largest no-kill shelters in NEPA. With this goal in mind, a ten-acre farm was purchased with an existing house, barn and other out-buildings.
Please help Guardians of Mercy Animal League
Guardians of Mercy Animal League needs your help and you can help in a painless way that will not cost you any money. It will take only a few minutes of your time. If you do any grocery shopping at IGA Region Supermarket you can obtain an IGA card for Lake Region Community Dock Foundation. When you check out, just present the card and IGA will donate one cent of every dollar to Guardians of Mercy Animal League. One penny may not sound like much, but when several customers present their cards the money adds up and doesn't cost you a cent. Please consider obtaining a card and tell your friends and neighbors about it. Another way a donation is made is if you shop online and use Amazon. The same product can be purchased on AmazonSmile, and Amazon donates .5% of the purchased items to Guardians of Mercy. All you have to do is register on AmazonSmile. It doesn't cost you a cent and you have done a good deed. Please help us in this way. Of course, we appreciate all monetary gifts. We have 501(c)(3) status. All donations are tax exempt. Thank you for any help you can render.
