Cats give love and like to receive affection and loving care. But adoption is a serious life-long commitment. People interested in adoption must appear in person, see the cats and make that decision of introducing a new member to the family. The person must be a responsible adult, have a home to keep the cat or clearance by a landlord and be able to provide nourishment, love and veterinary care for the pet. An application form is completed and then reviewed by the staff to determine qualification. GOMAL is always glad to place a cat in a good home but is cautious when it concerns the welfare of the animal.
